J

bands of drums and trumpets
a clattering of the blare
membrane ears buzz and dare

the collumn of sapiens
with still some hair
to wreck the air
with the love of kin
and violent flares

the sun:
it is far away
but burns as bright as
comparison will lay
into the presence of the face
its radiation is one of two
the other gravity
oh, pull and rue
the day when these are gone
for they
are the very draw of man
